New Hair Graft receives the Gold Laurel from the International Tourism Federation

An award presented in Grand-Baie

It was during a ceremony held on Thursday 23 July 2026, at the C-Care Clinic in Grand-Baie, that New Hair Graft received the Gold Laurel of Professional Excellence, a distinction awarded by the International Tourism Federation (FIT). On this occasion, the clinic also became a member of the FIT in Mauritius, as its exclusive sector partner.

The presentation took place in the presence of Jean-Éric Duluc, president of the FIT, Karl Mootoosamy, former director of the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA), Umar-Farooq Omarjee, Consul of Armenia in Mauritius, and Rudi Clarke, CEO of C-Care Hospitals & Clinics Mauritius.

What this recognition rewards

According to Jean-Éric Duluc, New Hair Graft's membership of the FIT followed an audit of the clinic's quality and safety criteria. Far from being a purely honorary mention, the distinction therefore validates a concrete standard, verified on the ground.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr Daoud Ingar explained that this recognition acknowledged the work carried out over the years, along with the ambition to make hair transplants accessible while maintaining high quality standards.
