How does it work?

The hair transplant steps at New Hair Graft are well-structured to ensure a smooth experience for the patient. Our doctors are committed to transforming your hair transplant into a true wellness experience, in the heart of an exceptional setting.

Here are the main

steps of the process:

1. Initial Contact and Preliminary Consultation

  • Online consultation: The patient sends photos of their current hair to the clinic for an initial evaluation.

  • Personalized quote: A detailed quote including the number of grafts needed and care coverage is provided.

  • Planning: A date for the procedure is set with the patient, and preoperative instructions are provided (e.g., avoid alcohol, tobacco, and certain medications).

4. The Surgical Procedure

Hair transplantation generally takes place in 4 main stages and can last from a few hours to a day, depending on the number of grafts:

Shaving and preparation: The donor area (often the back of the head) is shaved to facilitate follicle extraction.

Local anesthesia: The scalp is anesthetized to prevent any pain.

Graft extraction: Hair follicles are extracted individually (FUE technique).

Implantation: Follicles are implanted in the thinning areas using specific micro-instruments.

5. Immediate Post-operative Care

Care of the grafted area: The clinic provides precise instructions on washing and care.

Medications: Painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs may be prescribed to reduce discomfort, as well as specific products contributing to improved hair growth.

Recommendations: Avoid sun exposure, intense physical effort, and wearing helmets for several days.

6. Return Home and Follow-up

• The patient can return to their home or hotel immediately after the surgical procedure and, if coming from abroad, consider returning to their country of residence one or two days later, depending on post-operative follow-up.

• Online follow-up consultations are offered to monitor hair regrowth.

• Temporary shedding of transplanted hair usually occurs after 2 to 4 weeks (natural phenomenon). New hair begins to grow between 3 and 6 months.

7.  Final Results

• Final results are visible between 12 and 18 months after the procedure.
